Symptoms  of SAD

SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder
 

Symptoms

The symptoms of SAD are those typically associated with depression such as: 

Hopelessness

Lethargy 

Anxiety or irritation 

Loss of energy

Fatigue 

Social withdrawal  

Sleep disorders/ sleeping too much or sleeping too little 

Loss of interest in activities you usually enjoy  

Increased or decreased appetite. 

Increased interest in carbohydrates  

Weight loss or gain  

Difficulty concentrating  

SAD also appears to weaken the immune system
